Supporting Our Communities: A Proud Partnership with the PNG Cancer Relief Society

At Pacific Hardware Supplies, we believe that small acts of kindness can have a profound impact. Recently, we had the honour of giving back to a cause that holds a special place in our hearts — supporting cancer care in Papua New Guinea.

Delivery of Ice-bricks to the PNG Cancer Relief Society

In collaboration with Transparts International and with the generous backing of Bunnings Brisbane, we proudly donated 200 reusable ice packs to the PNG Cancer Society. These ice packs are essential for transporting chemotherapy drugs safely to remote villages, ensuring that critical treatments reach those who need them most.

A few months ago, the PNG Cancer Society reached out for assistance in sourcing ice packs, as local supplies were limited. Initially, only 30 ice packs could be sourced within the country — quickly exhausting available resources. Recognising the urgency, our team at Pacific Hardware Supplies stepped in to help bridge the gap, sourcing and providing the much-needed supplies.

Supporting the health and wellbeing of the Papua New Guinea community is deeply meaningful to us. Many members of our team have strong ties to the region, and we are committed to playing our part in strengthening the communities we serve.
