At Pacific Hardware Supplies, giving back to our communities is at the heart of who we are. Recently, we had the humbling privilege of working alongside Transparts International, with the generous support of Bunnings Brisbane, to donate 200 reusable ice packs to the PNG Cancer Society.

A few months ago, we were approached for assistance in sourcing ice packs to help safely transport chemotherapy drugs to remote villages across Papua New Guinea. Without hesitation, our team embraced the opportunity to support not only a critical health initiative but one that resonates deeply with the values of Pacific Hardware Supplies.

Initially, just 30 ice packs were sourced locally — completely exhausting the available supply within the country. That’s when PHS stepped in to help bridge the gap.

It has been an honour to contribute to the lifesaving efforts of the PNG Cancer Society, and we are committed to continuing our support for this incredible organisation and the vital work they do.
